How to enter cheats
All platforms
- Go to Options, then Cheats, then Enter Cheat (Enter New Cheat on some releases).
- Hold down the fret buttons listed for a step; frets grouped with a plus sign are held together.
- Strum up or down once for that step, then move to the next step.
- A sound confirms most codes; Unlock All Songs and Unlock Everything register silently.

Do Guitar Hero III cheats disable achievements?
On PS2 and Xbox 360, turning on Easy Expert or No Fail blocks that session's achievement or RetroAchievement unlocks until you restart the game.
Can you use Easy Expert and Precision Mode together?
No. They can't be active at the same time, and neither works in Career mode or online play.
How do you unlock everything in Guitar Hero III?
Enter the Unlock Everything code to unlock every character, item and Quickplay song, or Unlock All Songs for just the songs.
