How to enter cheats in Half-Life
PC
- Add -console (or -dev) to the launch options, or start hl.exe with it.
- Press ~ to open the console, type sv_cheats 1 and press Enter.
- Reload a save or load a map so cheats take effect.
- Type a command, such as impulse 101, and press Enter.
How to enable developer mode in Half-Life
- In your Steam library, open Half-Life's Properties.
- In Launch Options, add -dev.
- Start a new game or load a save, then press ~ to open the console.
- Type sv_cheats 1, reload the save and enter your commands.
