Need for Speed Cheats: Codes for Every Game
Need for Speed cheats are usually typed on a menu screen or entered as a name, and they unlock cars, tracks and bonus money rather than changing how you drive. We cover 5 games in the series.
Each guide says which screen the code goes on, because entering it in the wrong place is the usual reason a code looks broken.

FAQ
Where do I type Need for Speed cheats?
Most of them go on the main menu or the profile-name screen, not during a race. The guide for your game names the exact screen.
Do the codes unlock everything at once?
No. Most unlock one car, one track or a fixed amount of money. The effect column tells you exactly what each code gives.
