PC

  1. Launch the game to the intro screen that says Press Enter.
  2. Type the code exactly as shown.
  3. A beep confirms it worked, then load your profile.

PS2 & Xbox

  1. Turn on the game and wait for the Press Start screen.
  2. Press the button sequence from the table in order.
  3. A confirmation sound plays if you got it right.

FAQ

Is there a money cheat in Need for Speed Underground 2?

Yes. PC has three money codes — regmybank, ordermebaby and regmebaby for $200, $1,000 and $20,000. PS2 and Xbox have button codes for the $200 and $1,000 amounts.

How do you enter cheat codes in Need for Speed Underground 2?

On PC, type the code at the Press Enter intro screen. On PS2 and Xbox, press the button sequence at the Press Start title screen.

Do the codes carry over into Career mode?

Vinyl and sponsor car codes do. The money and parts codes only apply to the profile you enter them on.

How do you unlock the sponsor cars in NFS Underground 2?

Enter the sponsor car's code, then switch the car selection screen from All Cars to Sponsor Cars.

Do cheat codes work in multiplayer?

They're meant for single-player Career and Quick Race; there's no confirmation they work online.
