How to enter cheats in Saints Row 3
PC, PS3, Xbox 360 & Remastered
- Open your phone during gameplay.
- Choose Extras, then Cheats, then Add Cheat.
- Type the code exactly as shown and confirm it.
- On consoles, enter it letter by letter on the phone's on-screen keyboard.
Do cheats disable achievements in Saints Row 3?
Yes, permanently for that save. Magic Game World says activating any cheat permanently disables autosave and every achievement on that save file, and that switching the cheat off again does not bring them back. Save before you add a cheat, and keep that save clean. Magic Game World: Saints Row: The Third Remastered Cheats
Can you use these cheats in multiplayer?
Only if the host allows it. Saints Row Wiki says the host of a multiplayer game can choose to deny players who use cheats, and some pedestrian cheats (mascot, hohoho, notrated and brains) cannot be used in the co-op campaign at all. Saints Row Wiki: Cheats in Saints Row: The Third

- Co-op campaign Saints Row Wiki lists the pedestrian cheats mascot, hohoho, notrated and brains as ones that cannot be used in the co-op campaign. Saints Row Wiki: Cheats in Saints Row: The Third
What the codes mean
- letsrock Saints Row Wiki says it refers to the 1986 film Aliens, where Vasquez shouts "Let's rock!" before opening fire.
- goldengun Saints Row Wiki links it to Scaramanga's Golden Gun in the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun, a weapon that kills in one hit in Bond games.
- notrated Saints Row Wiki says the Bloody Mess effect may be a nod to Fallout's Bloody Mess perk, which makes enemies explode when they die.
- whatitmeanstome Saints Row Wiki says it quotes the song Respect, whose chorus spells out R-E-S-P-E-C-T and asks what it means to me.
