How to enter cheats in 7 Days to Die
PC
- Press F1 to open the console.
- Type the command, for example dm or cm, and press Enter.
- For creative mode's item list, close the console with Esc, then press U.
How to enable developer mode in 7 Days to Die
- In single player nothing needs switching on: press F1, type dm for debug mode or cm for the creative menu, and press Enter.
- On a dedicated server, dm and cm count as cheat commands, so your account needs an admin permission level that allows them.
- An admin gives a player full access from the server console by typing admin add, then the player's name, entity id or platform id, then the level 0; levels are stored in serveradmin.xml.
Do cheats disable achievements in 7 Days to Die?
In single player, some commands flag the save as cheated and switch off some progression-style achievements for that save, so use a separate save for cheating. Can you use these cheats in multiplayer?
On a server you do not run, these commands only work if the admin has given your account a high enough permission level; players without one get level 1000, which means no admin rights. Admins can hand out single commands with cp instead of full rights. PS5 and Xbox players on crossplay servers have no F1 console, so admin commands there run through a web console, telnet or a PC player with admin rights.
