How to enter cheats in Company of Heroes
PC
- Right-click Company of Heroes in Steam, open Properties, and add -dev to the launch options.
- Start a single-player skirmish or campaign mission.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+~ to open the console.
- Type the command exactly as shown and press Enter.
How to enable developer mode in Company of Heroes
- In Steam, open the game's Properties and add -dev to the launch options.
- Without Steam, make a shortcut to RelicCOH.exe, add a space and -dev at the end of the Target field, apply it and launch the game from that shortcut.
- If a resource command answers with an error calling Game_GetLocalPlayer a nil value, -dev is not active yet.

Can you use these cheats in multiplayer?
These are for offline matches only. A poster in a coh2.org modding thread says commands that use Game_GetLocalPlayer(), which covers every resource and population command on this page, cause a sync error in multiplayer. - Without -dev In a Steam discussion on the current Company of Heroes app, pasting the resource commands without -dev gave an error calling Game_GetLocalPlayer a nil value.
