How to enter cheats in Dawn of War
PC
- Right-click the game in Steam, open Properties, and add -dev to the launch options.
- In Skirmish or multiplayer, set Allow Cheats to Yes in Game Options before starting.
- During a match, press Ctrl+Shift+~ to open the console.
- Type the command exactly as shown and press Enter.
How to enable developer mode in Dawn of War
- Steam: right-click the game in your Library, open Properties and paste -dev into the launch options box, then relaunch.
- GOG: make a shortcut to W40k_gog.exe, add -dev to the end of its Target field and start the game from that shortcut.
- For a skirmish, choose Enable Cheats in Game Options during match setup.
- In a match, press Ctrl+Shift+~ to open the console; GameWatcher notes the last key can differ by keyboard region.

Can you use these cheats in multiplayer?
The Dawn of War Wiki says that in Skirmish and multiplayer the cheats only work if Allow Cheats is set to Yes in Game Options before the match starts. - Definitive Edition on GOG GameWatcher says the same commands work in the Steam and GOG releases of the Definitive Edition. On GOG there is no launch-options box, so it adds -dev to the end of the Target field of a shortcut to W40k_gog.exe and starts the game from that shortcut.
