Compatibility notes
Which releases these codes apply to, and where one behaves differently. Each note links to the source that documents it.
- PSP The Godfather Wiki lists a separate PSP set: full ammo and full health end on R1 and L1 where PS2 uses R3 and L3, a $1,000 code replaces the $5,000 one, and there is no movies code. The Godfather Wiki: The Godfather: The Game cheats
- PS3 The Godfather Wiki marks Unlock All Movies as N/A on PS3. The other three PS3 codes use Triangle where the PS2 versions press Circle. The Godfather Wiki: The Godfather: The Game cheats
- All platforms The Godfather Wiki says codes are entered while paused and each one only once every five minutes, so a repeat entry inside that window does nothing. The Godfather Wiki: The Godfather: The Game cheats
- Film Archive without the code The Godfather Wiki lists 25 bonus movies: 17 unlock as you finish story missions and 8 as you collect 10 to 100 film reels. The movies code simply skips that. The Godfather Wiki: The Godfather: The Game cheats

FAQ
How do you enter cheat codes in The Godfather?
Pause the game and enter the code. On PC you type it on your keyboard after pressing Esc; on consoles you press a button sequence.
Is there a money cheat in The Godfather?
Yes. The cuneo code (or its console button sequence) gives you $5,000 at a time.
Why won't my Godfather cheat code work?
Each code can only be entered once every five minutes, so wait a few minutes and try again.
Is there a god mode or unlimited ammo cheat in The Godfather?
The Godfather Wiki lists no god mode code, and other phrases on cheat sites are not in its list, so they are not shown here. Becoming the Don of New York City gives you unlimited ammo without a code.
Do the cheat codes work the same on every platform?
No. The button presses differ by platform, PS3 has no Unlock All Movies code, and the PSP list has only $1,000, full ammo and full health.
