- Open Documents BioWare Mass Effect Config and open BIOInput in Notepad.
- Find the [Engine.Console] line and add ConsoleKey=Tilde under it, then save.
- Start the game and press the tilde key (~), found above Tab.
- Type a command exactly as shown and press Enter.
How to enable developer mode in Mass Effect

- Legendary Edition (2021) GameWatcher reports that the remaster has no official cheat support and that players struggle to open the console. The console is not available in Legendary Edition without third-party tools, so these commands cover the original PC release only.
