Compatibility notes
Which releases these codes apply to, and where one behaves differently. Each note links to the source that documents it.
- Dinosaur Digs and later The wiki says the Rosalie tour guide cheat only works in the base game. It breaks with Dinosaur Digs and stays broken with Marine Mania and the Complete Collection. Zoo Tycoon Wiki: Cheats
- Dinosaur Digs and Marine Mania The wiki lists Dinoman, Ron Propst, Eggman, Super Croc and Dr. Scholl as Dinosaur Digs names, and Boogyman and Stinky as Marine Mania names, so the base game alone does not have them. Zoo Tycoon Wiki: Cheats
- Money key, all versions The wiki and GameRevolution both warn that the $ cheat breaks exhibit fences, and the wiki adds that it dirties tanks too, so use it before your zoo is built. GameRevolution: Zoo Tycoon: Marine Mania PC cheats
- Zoo Tycoon 2 The wiki says Zoo Tycoon 2 has no cheat codes at all, so none of these names carry over to the sequel. Zoo Tycoon Wiki: Cheats
