How to enter cheats
PC
- Press Tab to open the console at the bottom of the screen.
- In single-player, type a command and press Enter.
- On a server you run, type EnableCheats followed by the admin password and press Enter.
- Then type admincheat before each command, for example admincheat God.
Xbox
- Open the pause screen.
- Press LB, RB, X and Y at the same time to open the console.
- Type a command and confirm it.
PlayStation
- Press L1, R1, Square and Triangle at the same time to open the console.
- Type a command and confirm it.
FAQ
How do you open the console in ARK: Survival Evolved?
Press Tab on PC. On Xbox, pause and press LB + RB + X + Y together. On PlayStation, press L1 + R1 + Square + Triangle together.
Do you need a password for ARK commands in single-player?
No. In single-player you type commands directly. On a server you need EnableCheats with the admin password and the admincheat prefix.
Is there a god mode in ARK?
Yes. God toggles god mode, and LeaveMeAlone adds infinite stats and makes creatures ignore you.
How do you tame a dinosaur instantly in ARK?
Aim at the creature and type ForceTame. It is tamed at once and can be ridden without a saddle.
Do ARK commands work on Xbox and PlayStation?
Most do. Teleport and SetPlayerPos always send you to the centre of the map on console, and a few commands are listed for PC only.
