How to enter cheats in EU4
PC
- Start or load a game that is not in ironman mode.
- Press ` or ~ to open the console. On some keyboard layouts use Shift+2, Shift+3, ^ or § instead.
- Type debug_mode and hover over the map if you need a province ID or country tag.
- Type the command and press Enter; leave out the square brackets around values.
Do cheats disable achievements in EU4?
Achievements can only be earned in ironman games, and the console is switched off in ironman. Any game where you use console commands is therefore one that can't earn achievements. PCGamesN: EU4 cheats and console commands
