How to enter cheats in Palworld
PC server
- Set AdminPassword in PalWorldSettings.ini before you start the server.
- Join the server and press Enter to open chat.
- Type /AdminPassword followed by the password and press Enter.
- Type an admin command, for example /Save, and press Enter.
How to enable developer mode in Palworld
- On a dedicated server, set the admin password before the server starts; GameServerKings says that on a hosted panel you set it in the panel, because the panel rewrites PalWorldSettings.ini on every start.
- Start or restart the server so the password is loaded.
- Join the server, press Enter to open chat and type /AdminPassword followed by the password.
- Repeat /AdminPassword each time you rejoin, since admin rights last only for that session.
Can you use these cheats in multiplayer?
Palworld's admin commands exist only on a dedicated server. GameServerKings says a co-op world hosted from someone's game has no admin password, so none of these commands run there. On a dedicated server you need the AdminPassword from the server settings, and the rights end when you disconnect. Crossplay is on by default on 1.0 servers, so Xbox and PS5 players can be on the same server and are handled by Player UID. GameServerKings: Palworld admin commands
